Your Fab Look Starts With The Fabric

Fabric isn’t something that first comes to mind for many people when it comes to sissy fashion, but it totally should! I’ve spent many hours behind a sewing machine creating my own clothing designs or making alterations to clothes I already owned. The fabric that your garments are made of can make or break your look. Different types of fabric will create different silhouettes based on how they fall or cling to your body. You can choose a textured fabric or even a patterned fabric, there are sooo many options available! First, you will want to determine the aesthetic that you are looking to achieve with your sissy style.

Curating The Perfect Clothing Options For You

There are so many fucking clothing options for us gals! 🥰 Sometimes, it can be a bit intimidating when you’re trying to find the perfect outfit. I’m a huge fan of a casually romantic boho look. I feel like my best self when I’m comfy. So, a cashmere cami and a pair of linen pants or a flowy maxi dress are staples for me.

But, as I’m sure you are already aware, the event I am going to absolutely dictates what I will be wearing. During the summertime, I spend a lot of time at music festivals or at a bar with friends listening to live music. So, you’ll probably find me wearing a ruffled denim mini skirt paired with a tube top. Or a pair of high waist leather shorts with a sequined halter top.

And we absolutely cannot forget about shoes! 😍 I am an absolute whore for shoes! I’ve seriously bought outfits for my shoes! 🤣 Let’s use my cashmere camisole and linen pants as an example. I’m going to do some shopping with my girlfriends during the day and that evening we are meeting up with more friends at a bar for some drinks. So, I will want something cute but comfortable to wear for walking around the million stores we will be visiting and then something sexier for the evening. For the daytime, I would wear a cute ballet flat or an open toe kitten heel sandal. For the evening, I would wear a pair of stiletto heels in a bright, bold color.

Accessorize Your Life

For me, accessories are like the cherry on top of an ice cream sundae. There are just way too many accessories to choose from to complete the perfect look! Let’s use the black leather high waisted shorts and sequined halter top as an example. You can wear a black sequined top and accessorize this look with a chunky brightly colored belt. Then, complete the look by adding in a pair of earrings, a bracelet, and a layered necklace that has coordinating colors as the belt. Or, style your hair in an updo and use hair accessories with coordinating colors. The key is to add in pops of color to your look without overwhelming the overall aesthetic. Too many patterns and textures will be overwhelming and totally defeat the purpose.
